Max Payne Mobile App Reviews

This is an awesome port; the touch controls are fine, the graphics are good. However; it has not been updated for the latest iOS. When killed, it doesnt give the option to restart; you must quit the game entirely, and restart. And every now and then, more often than not, the controls are completely non responsive.

"Max Payne is one of my most favorite games of all time! There was no lag problems and I completed it within 3 days! Very good! Will they release the second for the IOS? Well find out later in the future." Now that were here, I still think the same. Its still fun and its something to look at if you are bored. The game is it and I dont know why its only three dollars. Who knows? We might be able to see he second game in IOS soon... Get the game if you love Rockstar Games and Max Payne in general!

And when I say it should be in the top charts, I mean it. This game deserves a full 5 star rating. Great storyline, great gameplay, and endless hours of fun. Dont listen to the bad reviews, if you are planning on getting this game, get it. If you arent planning on getting this game, then get it. One of the best games on the App Store and for only 3 bucks. Totally worth it. Thank you Rockstar, please add more games to the App Store. Update: I finished the game now, and I have to say the ending was flawless and incredibly satisfying. I finally figured out how to access the cheats (which I didnt want to do until I had completed the game. If anyone is having trouble accessing it just tap the Social Club logo on the bottom of the list, not the top right corner. Make an account and go back to the cheats section, it should be able to access.). I was kind of disappointed when I saw that the only cheat was to play any mission you wanted. Please add more "cheat" cheats, like unlimited ammo or bullet time. Thats all I have to say, thanks again Rockstar. Update 2: Its been a while since Ive played this game now. For me, I like to experience new games now and then, so Ive kind of moved passed it. But still, I cant bring myself to delete this game for some reason. Its just too good. Youve made a legend bringing this game to the App Store, Rockstar Games. Bring Max Payne 2 or 3 so that I can play this series some more, with a brand new experience.

Max Payne is legendary.....can you please bring the Warriors to iOS omg that would be uber sensational

This game is great! It was great back in 2001 and it still is today! The controls are great and really make the experience playable.

Does it not download for some of you

well i have played the game before on console, but the mobile version is way better. the story is great oboviously awesome game, but the way the app is designed is just amaizing. graphics are gta:sa quality but it never lags and it doesnt overheat my phone or drain my battery. well made and price is cheap.

I played this when in first came out for PC. I just downloaded and started playing the iOS mobile version and, even though its a few years old, its an absolutely amazing game! Id forgotten how good this game is, and the port to mobile is amazing. This is a game Ill keep on my iPad! Once I finish the "easy" level, Ill keep playing the harder levels. Great game -- great job, Devs!

By far the best console game brought to a mobile device. It is seamlessly integrated to iOS. Please Rockstar dont hesitate on bringing MP2 too. Highly recommend, hours of fun!

I keep experiencing a bug where when I die, it wont give me the option to reset, so I have to manually shut off the game and then load the last save instead

I loved this game on PS2 and I just had to get it on iphone port. This will be a classic someday!!!

The game is fun but the controls and little hard but it work. If they read this can you do max Payne 2 on mobile.

Not in the way youre thinking, though. Obviously this is a gem of a game, but this port is forgotten. As iOS updated its firmware, this remained unchanged, which lead to bugs and problems. The auto-load feature, for example, doesnt work anymore after you die. It just hovers over your body until you restart the app. This is a pain for later missions or difficulties, where you die often. The app sometimes glitches and doesnt allow you to skip the Max Payne logo/intro video, but still loads your game in the background. A few other smaller bugs, but overall still worth buying. I hope Rockstar releases Max Payne 2, and updates this.

I played this game maybe 4 years ago on my PC and I really like it I finish it so many times and today I thanked about try it in my phone and its really great I feel like its the first time I play it its so much better and I dont know why this game not on the top charts its really great game you mast try it just download it and you will see

Ive been playing this game on my iPod touch 5th generation for weeks now and Ive just got an steelseries stratus xl mfi controller so I can have an better gaming experience but I so far I cant use my game controller with this game because the game not supporting game controllers. Please update this app and then Ill give it 5 stars.
